Courses & Workshops

Age Limits

The age limit for attendance on any course involving the forging and making of knives or axes is 18+.  There are no exceptions to this rule, and ID verification may be requested prior to course commencement in the event the participant looks under 21.

For the Introduction to Blacksmithing and other non-blade courses, the age limit is 16+, provided a parent or guardian is also booked on the same course, otherwise this limit is also 18+.  Upon occasion, we will accept younger candidates onto this course, but this is by prior approval and assessment of individual capabilities and ability to follow safety instructions.  Please contact us with any individual requests.

Course Cancellations

In the event that a specific course is cancelled by Boneyard London, participants will be entitled to either of the following:

A) 100% refund

B) Rebooking on an alternative suitable date, with no charge to the participant.

Rebooking Fee

Should a participant request rebooking onto an alternative course date, the following charges will apply:

Greater than 6 weeks from Course Date:     No Charge

Between 6 weeks and 2 weeks from Course Date:     20% of Course Fee

Less than 2 weeks from Course Date:     No Rebooking

Refunds

A full refund is available on all courses within 30 days of purchase upon request, provided that course has not yet been attended.

Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances out-with this 30 day period.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers have a nine month validity from the date of purchase (i.e. courses have to be booked and attended within this nine-month period).  However, once a course date has been selected and confirmed, the above Rebooking/Cancellation policies take effect.

Gift vouchers can be refunded within 30 days from purchase, provided a course has not yet been booked or attended within this time period.  Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances out-with this 30 day period.

All cancellation & rebooking policies take effect from the initial course date booked for all participants (including those redeeming flexible date gift vouchers).

Knives & Other Products

Age Limits

The age limit for purchasing any knives or sharp objects available on this site is 18+.  There are no exceptions to this rule, and ID verification may be requested prior to order fulfilment to ensure adherence to this rule and UK Law.

Refunds & Replacements

We offer a full refund &/or replacement guarantee against faulty manufacture of any products sold on this site. 

However, this does not include lack of proper maintenance or upkeeping, for example high carbon steel rusting after being left unwashed, or from incorrect wooden handle maintenance (washing, drying, & oiling).  This guarantee also does not apply to general wear and tear of the products.

Each item sold on this site should last for a lifetime if cared for and used correctly.
