I did the 2 day kitchen knife course. It was a fantastic and memorable experience! James is a great teacher. Just the right balance of informality and seriousness. I had a great time AND came out of it with an absolutely gorgeous kitchen knife!

Absolutely fantastic couple of days spent with James at his forge in Twickenham making myself a kitchen knife. James is fantastic at leading you through the process and is passionate about bringing out the best knife maker in you. The finished product is awesome and testament to James’ tuition rather than my knifemaking skills!

Highly recommended – I will be returning to build up a set!

This has got to be hands down the best course I have done. The team do a great job of teaching how to forge, shape and finish a kitchen knife from start to finish. You get to do it all on your own, with help on hand if you need it.

The finished piece alone is worth the cost of the course, If I'm honest probably worth a lot more.
