On this half-day workshop you will be guided through the process of making two items:
1) Rustic Steel Hook
By making this first you will get comfortable with holding and wielding a hammer safely and effectively, and learn how metal moves under pressure. You will have a chance to get experience of how hot to heat the steel, and how to operate a gas forge safely.
2) Bottle Opener
You will then be guided through each step to create a fully forged metal bottle opener - a thing of beauty that you will treasure for life. Should you wish, there is an opportunity to customise your bottle opener at the end of forging, and make it unique to you.
At the end of the workshop you will go home with two fully finished items that you have made yourself, and the satisfaction that comes with learning a new skill.
No prior experience is necessary.
Should this course be a gift, you have the option of having a designed and printed gift voucher sent to you via post, to give to the selected recipient.
Gift vouchers are valid for nine months from date of purchase.
