ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
Discover the thrill of blacksmithing in this unforgettable half-day experience. Perfect for complete beginners, you'll step into the forge, work with glowing red-hot steel, and learn the traditional skills that blacksmiths have used for centuries.
Guided by our expert instructors, with every stage demonstrated live, you'll create two handcrafted items to take home:
1. Artisanal Twisted Steel Hook
Master the fundamentals of blacksmithing as you learn to safely swing a hammer, heat steel in the forge, and shape hot metal on the anvil. This first project introduces the essential techniques that form the foundation of every blacksmith's craft.
2. Hand-forged Bottle Opener
Put your new skills into practice by forging a beautiful steel bottle opener from scratch. Once complete, you'll have the opportunity to personalise your piece, creating a unique keepsake that's both practical and built to last.
No previous experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and we'll guide you every step of the way.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with two handcrafted items you've forged yourself, new skills you'll never forget, and the satisfaction of discovering one of the world's oldest crafts.
