Careers At Boneyard London
Boneyard London is the UK’s leading blacksmithing & bladesmithing experience company, giving thousands of people the chance to step into a forge and make something with their own hands.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a world-class business, running hundreds of workshops per year. We’re known for doing things properly - real skills, genuine hands-on work, and results people are proud to take home.
Now we’re building the next stage. More customers, more experiences, and more opportunities for talented people to join the team. We’re ambitious, and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our customers come to us to try something they’ve probably never done before. For some, it’s a bucket-list experience. For others, it’s a birthday, anniversary, stag or hen party, or simply a chance to spend a day doing something completely different.
That means the people who work here need to be more than technically capable. We look for people who are:
SKILLED
You take pride in your craft and know how to work safely and confidently with tools, machinery, metal and fire.
RELIABLE & PROFESSIONAL
Our customers have often travelled a long way and spent a significant amount of money to be here. We take that responsibility seriously.
GOOD WITH PEOPLE
Our customers aren't blacksmiths. You need to be able to put beginners at ease, communicate clearly and make people feel welcome & safe.
PASSIONATE
We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy making things, learning new skills and sharing them with other people.
GOOD TEACHER
The best teachers/instructors don't just demonstrate a technique—they know how to explain it, encourage people when things aren't going to plan and help them leave with something they're genuinely proud of.
CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
center center;
Workshop & Operations Manager
A hands-on leadership role: run our workshop, manage and develop the team, teach our courses, own health and safety, rota and stock, with a clear path to General Manager.
OPEN APPLICATION REQUEST
You don't necessarily need to see a specific vacancy advertised to get in touch. If you're good at what you do, enjoy working with people and think you'd fit in at Boneyard London, send us your details.
We're particularly interested in hearing from people with:
- Professional or significant practical blacksmithing, metalworking & welding experience
- Experience teaching or demonstrating practical skills
- Experience working with groups or members of the public
